About Me

I am a self-published author, avid reader and keen nature lover. I have held down a wide variety of jobs, including assistant librarian, trainee landscape architect and school teacher, but I had the most fun volunteering for an environmental charity. Born in Northern Ireland and educated in Wales, I live in London with my partner and our black labrador.

Short Stories

I am a contributing author to a magazine promoting humorous writing by women. My serial is entitled ‘Up the Community Centre’.
I also plan to publish my own collection of short stories. Read some examples of my work by following the link.

Download The Thank You Sweets

The Thank You Sweets is a collection of a dozen humorous short stories about a suburban community hub inhabited by funny and endearing characters.

The stories are narrated by Lovage, who volunteers at the hub while she is starting up a one-woman gardening business.

Everything goes smoothly for manager Erica, local matriarch Bub, youth leader Marlon and their friends until their community projects are disrupted by the 2020 pandemic.
